Learning a system of balance and logic, as it was taught in both North and South America, can help us know if we are attending to all the needs of a patient. Patients usually present with a physical illness, but also have mental, emotional and spiritual needs. If we learn how to address them in balance we can make ourselves more effective in their treatment.
